Robert Schönfeld is the founder and Member of the Supervisory Board of a private investment group, RSBC. In the 1990s he began managing property and assets restituted to his family. Robert started his business activities in 1998. He focused on real estate investments, philanthropic projects, as well as consultancy and management services.

In 2006–2009 Robert co-founded and managed Epic Asset Management Limited (Hong Kong). He oversaw the company’s activity in the CEE as well as South East Asian regions. In 2007, he acted as a sole advisor and facilitator between ARA Strategic Capital I Pte of Singapore (Cheung Kong Group, Hong Kong – member of CK Hutchison Holdings) and a specialist arm of Matrix Group, in bringing the ARA Pan Asia REIT (USD 500 million), as an investment, to UK investors via the Matrix Asian Property Fund with a fund raising target of USD 100 million. This was the first time a fund of Asia REITs was introduced to the UK financial market.

Robert is a founder and benefactor of the International School of Music and Fine Arts in Prague (ISMFA). ISMFA is one of the largest international institutions in the Czech Republic. To date over 10,000 students have attended the school. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with a master’s degree in History of Music & Art in 1997.

Robert Schönfeld has been selected as the Ernst & Young 2012 Entrepreneur of the Year for Social Causes in the Czech Republic.
